USB hub, USB-C dock or network adapter?
The right accessory depends on what your computer is actually missing. Adding USB devices, connecting a display and adding Ethernet are three separate needs to consider before choosing.

List your connections
Write down the accessories you need to connect at the same time: mouse, keyboard, webcam, drive, display or network. Note the connectors and device requirements. This helps you avoid choosing a hub for its number of ports when only one function is missing.
For several USB devices

To combine a display, network and memory cards
The Anker 555 A8383 includes HDMI, Ethernet, SD, microSD and USB data ports. Check your computer’s USB-C port capabilities, especially video output. A wall charger is not included. Plan the cables and power supply needed for your installation.
To add Ethernet only
The TP-Link UE306 connects a USB-A port to an Ethernet network. It is an option when the only missing connection is a network port. Check supported operating systems and plan for an Ethernet cable. It does not replace a hub for a display or memory cards.
