Build a gaming setup without unnecessary purchases
A setup that fits how you play.

Start with what is really missing
Before filling a cart, note what bothers you during a session: cables that are too short, occupied ports, a camera that is hard to position or a cluttered desk. A useful accessory solves a specific problem. If your installation already suits you, there is no reason to buy just to complete a list.
Plan your desk
Sketch the positions of your PC, monitor and peripherals. Measure cable routes, not just straight-line distances. Reserve an accessible spot for devices you connect frequently. A hub behind the monitor may not be convenient if you need to reach it several times a day.
Define your livestreaming needs
Choose a webcam with its placement, software and desired framing in mind. List what you need: a fixed image or tracking, accessible controls, room on the monitor or on a stand. Verify these points in the exact model’s documentation. Advertised resolution alone does not tell you whether the camera suits your setup.

Your checklist before ordering
Write down your maximum budget, available ports, useful dimensions and essential functions. Then compare box contents, separately purchased accessories and return terms shown at the time of purchase. If a product meets no identified need, remove it from the list and save the budget for later.
