Set up audio for team gaming
Hearing the game and talking to your team are two needs to check separately on each device.
Your selection method
Decide whether sound can play into the room. Speakers suit shared listening; a headset directs listening to its wearer. This choice does not predict a model’s isolation or comfort.
List your devices and check audio and microphone compatibility for each. The Cloud III Wired combines headset and microphone; the Z207 require a separate microphone for speaking. These products are not a bundle you need to buy together.
Before buying, record with your current equipment and check the inputs and outputs selected in your software. Then locate volume and mute controls and plan cable routes.
